The major event

2nd Deauville Sport Images Festival (June 6 to September 6, 2026): this international festival offers a unique perspective on the values of sport through 13 exhibitions spread throughout the city. For this second edition, women’s sports take center stage: exhibitions and screenings highlight the great athletes of yesterday and today, female photographers, and influential women in sports.

Must-see tourist attractions

Deauville’s Planches and parasols: no visit to Deauville is complete without strolling along the famous Planches promenade. On one side, the iconic colorful parasols; on the other, the Art Deco beach huts. The railings lining these cabanas bear the names of actors and directors honored at the American Film Festival.
