The PTCOG Honorary Member category was established in 2001 by the PTCOG Steering Committee. This distinction is bestowed by the Steering Committee upon members who meet the following criteria:

• Have played a significant role in the leadership, organization, and promotion of particle therapy.
• Have reached a distinguished stage in their professional career.
