Heron Neutron Medical Expands AB-BNCT Clinical Indications and Integrated Care Platform in Taiwan

Following the approval of Taiwan’s first medical device license for an accelerator-based Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (AB-BNCT) system in July 2024, Heron Neutron Medical is actively advancing its clinical pipeline to address challenging, high-unmet-need malignancies.

Heron’s primary clinical focus spans key solid tumor indications, including recurrent glioblastoma (GBM), recurrent head and neck cancer (rH&N), neoadjuvant head and neck cancer, and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). To complement these therapeutic programs and enhance treatment precision, clinical evaluations are underway for the investigational diagnostic radiopharmaceutical [18F]FBPA PET/CT, assessing its safety and efficacy in predicting boron uptake and optimizing patient selection.
