PTCOG 64, June 8 to 13, 2025, in Deauville-Normandy: Abstract submission open!

 

AGENDA. Abstracts submission is open and will be closed on January 13, 2026. Registration should be open soon.  As far as the scientific program is concerned, it is on its way. Although far from being completed, several topics (including burning ones!) are being discussed. The scientific committee thinks about: “How translating innovation into implementation”; “What is holding particles behind X-rays therapy?”; “Overcoming radio-resistance by OMICS”; “Immune factors and immunotherapy”; also, clinical updates on head and neck cancers (e.g. role of immunotherapy…), pediatric oncology (e.g. role of helium ions…) and so on… Recent advances should be overviewed dealing with Flash, SBPT, BNCT… Presentations will include multidisciplinary debates, contradictory opinions, and a joint “PTCOG-ESTRO” session. As usual in a big show, the STAR is scheduled at the end:  the “C400” French (but truly “European”) heavy ions accelerator, which tour is scheduled on Saturday June13, 2026 at the CYCLHAD Center, in Caen.

PRACTICALITIES. Accommodation and transportation will be available on congress website. Also, tourist tours and sport activities. Pre-registration is strongly recommended for all.

IMPORTANT: TRANSPORTATION! Transportation from Paris airports (130 miles away) by round trip luxury buses (pre-registration on website) or private limousine service, for groups. Cheapest transport: Trains from Paris-Saint-Lazare station (2-hour trip, every hour or so). Direct metro-connection from Paris-Orly airport to Paris-Saint-Lazare station only (Line 14)
