Funding Opportunitites

The Particle Therapy Cooperative Group (PTCOG) offers a travel fellowship program, intended to facilitate attendance at its meetings of relative newcomers to the field of particle therapy for networking and educational purposes. For the upcoming PTCOG 64 Annual Conference in Deauville, Normandy, France, June 8 to 13, 2026, approximately 10-12 awards are expected.
The awards are in Euro (€), in the following amounts:

• Fellows travelling between continents to attend € 1,500
• Fellows within travelling distance 1000 km or less € 500
• For all others € 1,000

Completed applications must be received by Monday, February 16th, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by March 8th, 2026. The fellowship award will be given after the attendance of the PTCOG 64 Annual Conference by wire transfer.

To apply, an applicant must:

• Has to be a registered member of PTCOG (registration of membership is free of charge) not have received a PTCOG travel fellowship previously;
• be at most 5 years beyond his or her highest degree and with at least one year, and at most 3 years, experience in particle beam therapy;
• be a member of, or at least closely affiliated with, an institution which must either: have, be building, or be in advanced stages of planning/constructing a particle therapy facility and,
• whose institution is an Institutional Member of PTCOG and will undertake to cover any additional costs of a fellow’s attendance at the PTCOG 64 Annual Conference.
